MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Hi, my name is Dave Hughes and I have been Principal at Hilltop School since the beginning of 2000. I have also been Principal of two other schools giving a total of eighteen and a half years in Principalship. I love the challenge of creating, and of working collaboratively in a school environment that is stimulating yet safe for staff and students and where high standards of achievement, moral values and respect are well recognized. We have a wonderful teaching and support staff at Hilltop School and that makes it a special and encouraging learning environment for all concerned. Our parents support us and expect a lot in return as we prepare their children to actively be participating members of our Hilltop School community, and wider world communities. My goals are to create opportunities for learning with shared roles in leadership and planning including students, teachers and community so we have a common vision about what Hilltop School is all about.
